Seal Group gets a new name, web address and contact details!

Increasing interest in the importance of Cornwall's seals has led us to change our name to the Cornwall Seal Group.

Seals are a ‘sentinel’ species. This means they provide early indications of changes in our marine ecosystem, such as global warming and the weakening of the Gulf Stream that threaten Britain’s climate. Seals are an essential source of evidence for the future management of our marine environment, so research into their behaviour and movement is more important than ever.
