Look for these seals in May

The Seal Group's ongoing identification work is beginning to pay off and we are now in a position to start making predictions about the seals likely to be seen in each month of year. This has not been done before and we have no idea about how successful this work will be. Our previous records are being used as the basis for a model to predict seal visits. Basically, if a seal has visited the main haul out sites in May for 2 out of the last 5 years, then there is a possibility that they will be seen in May this year. So keep your eyes peeled. If you see any of these seals in May, please email ssayer@suesseals.eclipse.co.uk
