BBC visit the Seals

In the last week, a TV production team and crew from the BBC's Natural History Department in Bristol have been filming along our coastline. Presenter Steve Leonard and the team have been making a programme about sharks in British waters. The team contacted the Seal Group to ask about the best locations to film seals close to shore and about injured seals, to explore the possibility of these having been inflicted by sharks. Stephen Westcott, 'Seal man of the Westcountry', was interviewed close to the seal colony and British Divers Marine Life Rescue Medics were filmed demonstrating a marine rescue. It will be interesting to see the outcome of their investigation.
